This is the front office of an elementary school, where visitors first stop upon arrival at campus, and which leads to multiple administrative spaces. It’s also the office that young students come to when they need something, including minor nursing care like ice packs, bandaids, and sympathy. It gets little natural light and the walls had previously been a light beige, which felt dark and a bit gloomy. The desire was to brighten it up using a sunshine-y yellow theme.
