This school director’s office originally had heavy, very dark blue walls and according to the client, “nobody wanted it.” Her preference was for warm colors, and a welcoming space in which to host parents and visitors. We transformed it, painting the warm tones she loves, carrying the exterior building color (visible through the window) to the inside, and creating continuity and movement across a gradient of rose, tangerine, and buttery yellow, like a sunset. This is now a light, welcoming space.
